I have never machine quilted (yet). I think they have much more meaning when done by hand . I'm not very good at it but I learn more with each one I complete.

I hand quilt and hand piece sometimes, too. Although machine quilting is beautiful, there is nothing like the hand quilting look. To me, quilting is a journey, and I like the slow pace, so I have the feeling of it. I don't care how long it takes, because I enjoy the journey, I am not in a hurry to get to the destination.
