Hand Quilting - where do you get your ideas?

Thanks for the compliments.
Most of the fabrics are from the "Dragonfly Summer" collection by Holly Taylor for Moda. I initially found them during the New Years fat quarter sale at Country Treasures, in Chester, Vermont. (We were visiting family.) Basically, I was looking for plum and sage colors. And these happened to fit.
Of course I didn't buy enough-- especially given that it's a KING size quilt (cough, cough, choke), so I also augmented it a bit, and did a LOT of online purchasing of more of the fabric, which increasingly became more difficult. There's not much of it left out there in plum and sage.
