Default Handbag Question

I really want to make a handbag...but I am a beginner. Is there a easy handbag pattern that someone could recommend? Thanks for your help.

The "Bow Tucks" pattern is relatively easy with great instructions and comes in three sizes (I bought the medium pattern and adjusted to make smaller or larger bags). If you do a search on here you will find many different pics.

There are also the Lazy Girl patterns - very simple and cute bags!

I like the six pocket bag, but this site has many. http://www.bhg.com/crafts/sewing/acc...s/?rb=Y#page=9

Www.totesbysandy.com. Her directions are clear, she has oodles of pictures And I love the selection! the Ary Ee is great for 2 1/2" strips and the Stacie Lynn is roomy with lots of pockets !

I made some easy ones called Pheobe Bag. The pattern was free on the internet.

I love the Potato Chip Bag by Quilt Country for an easy, smaller bag. As mentioned above, the Bow Tucks bag is a great bag and also easy.

http://www.allfreesewing.com has lots of free patterns and usually says if they are "beginner"
"intermediate" or "advanced. I love this site.
