Thread: Hanging Sleeve

Do you make a hanging sleeve the same length as the width of the hanging or slightly smaller? The hanging that I am making will be 48 inches wide finished. So do I make the hanging sleeve 48 inches?

I make mine 2"-4" less than the finished quilt width.

So for your quilt - 44"-46" wide, and centered on the back.

Usually, I make mine 2-4 inches smaller. If you make it much larger, it will show on the ends and if you make it much smaller, the ends of the quilt will droop.
