Default Walking foot question

I have a Janome DC 2010. I don't have a walking foot yet. Tried to find one and I came across this one on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=280800093645 Does anyone know if this would fit my machine. It's definately more in my price range. I found one on Amazon but it's not in my price range but it does say that it fits my machine. http://www.amazon.com/Walking-Foot-P.../dp/B003AJQLZQ

Any help would be appreciated.

Iwould try and find a Janome dealer as you have to know wether you have a low shank or high shank on your machine. I know my DD bought one and it only cost $20. which I thought was reasonable.

I would ask the seller for the part number & then call Janome to make sure it is o.k. with your machine. I know my Viking walking foot was much more expensive to replace.

If I take a picture of my machine would you be able to tell if it has a low or high shank? Is there a way I can tell?

According to the Janome website you need....part #214516003 listed there as a Convertible Even Feed Foot for HIGH SHANK models. Mayby if you search by that part number you could a lower price one. Good Luck! Try All Brands dot com. I just bought a single hole plate for my Janome for a great price!

Your machine is low shank, as is mine (Janome HT2008). Only the Janome specialized embroidery and quilting machines are high shank. I purchased this foot from Amazon and have been happy with it. http://www.amazon.com/Distinctive-Pr...s=walking+foot
Stay away from the one that is $18.xx as the arm that making the foot walk gets stuck in the up position.

Thank you!!!! I called the lady I purchased my sewing machine from and my sewing store. Both said the same as you. Low shank. Thanks for the link as well. I'm looking forward to trying it out on a new quilt.
