Just got an email that I was a winner of a $10 gift certificate for the January Shop Hop. I have already picked out a pattern to get. Actually I found 2 I want, so they will be getting extra money out of me today! I'm sure that they count on that when they award the certificates!

I think these hops are well worth the effort. I have won several gift certificates through them. I have also found wonderful online shops that I wouldn't have know about otherwise.

I didn't finish the February Hop due to pure lack of time. But I'm motivated to get March done now!! Bunnies here I come!

How do you know when and where a shop hop starts, do you have to register somewhere?

Well there are local shop hops across the country. LOTS of them. This one is totally online. Google FabSHopHop. They have 9 or 10 each year. Usually they are for a full month. You qualify for prizes based on the number of shops you visit and find the bunny. As an added incentive, you can find bonus block patterns along the way. At the end of the month, they give you the details on putting the blocks together into a quilt. And you'll find wonderful shops and sales along the way.

Thank you, so I can participate. I love 'search' games, now I just have to take care I don't spend to much time on here LOL.

I used to do them all the time until I found this board. No time now. I would find them all too. Won lots of those gift certificates and usually spent more than they were. LOL. I did enjoy all the shops I found. Maybe one day again. RIght now my room and this board is all I can do. LOL

I search between reading posts on the Board. Usually late at night when it is slow. Found some great shops that way. And I use my winnings to buy patterns. Love it!!
