If you can afford a machine with a threading mechanism go for it. If you can't there are some needle threading helpers out there. Mine was made by Nechhi and I bought it years ago.

For myself and others who have tremors the Alto's QuiltCut2 [I keep calling it quickcut as it makes cutting so much easier and faster for me] is an absolute godsend for help with cutting. You can see it at: www.quiltcut.com

Make some quilting buddies and I bet they will help you with what you need. I found mine at my quilt guild and the LQS.
