How fun SuzzyQ....getting to do these kinds of things with our grand-kids is SUCH a joy. Please don't forget to post a picture of her project when she's finished.

I keep my 6 year old Grandson during the summer. I always have things lined up for us to do. This year we made a quilt throw for him. I had cut the pieces and he sewed them together. After the top was finished I quilted (FMQ) using fleece for the backing to make it soft and cuddly . He is so proud of it and I have some wonderful memories.

That is a heartwarming moment and a great memory for you both to store away. I'm looking forward to the birth of my first grandchild in January.
