Oh heck ... go for it and cook up some turkey! :)

So, where was "home" for you? Just north of the 49 in BC?

Thanks, Kitsie. Nice weather up in central BC. Nice fall wind this evening, but could be rain by morning. I love the fall and we have so much to be thankful for.

Yes, ewe, that's beautiful country. Farthest north and west I went was Salmon Arm and Kamloops. OMG that's got to be 60 yrs ago! Did drive through to Banff & Calgary to work about 50 yrs ago! Bet its a little different now!

Update: Clear sky this morning and the world looks golden this morning. almost time to make a dessert for a Thankgiving potluck with DIL's family. Maybe sneak some sewing time with the dessert is baking. I found a recipe for a pumpkin bread pudding, that has rave reviews, on recipes.com

Try making pumpkin pie with eggnog one time! Use the canned pumpkin that isn't already spiced. Tres yum!
