Yes, I am doing my own buildings. Will do this from memory and some photos, not a surplus of them. A month ago at the guild I do to, a lady who does a lot of landscape, did her own thing and she has travelled a long ways to show her quilts. They were so nice and not the 'typical'. After listening to her, I thought to myself that I would try. She is a little quirky, but she made so much sense. The one thing that did not make sense to me was this, she would ask questions and you would stand up to answer it, she then said you can have this top. Lord knows my kids do not want it. She did this several times through the evening. I was amazed her kids did not want them. Her work was beautiful and so much to see. By the way she is at least 80 years old. Wonderful woman and artist. It does pay to go to guild meetings, almost talked myself out of that one.
