Where is the boo boo? Shut your mouth and be proud of your work. It's lovely.

Love the block! If it really bothers you maybe you could add an embellishment to that corner. Or have it be like others have suggested - your Amish mistake.

thank you, rush! we live in an area with quite a few amish and they have told me the same thing! they would never compare their work to God's. just another urban/ rural myth.
one thing i do think is true, comes from the egyptians. when they are making a textile they run a thread out the outside edge so that any negative thoughts or anger they might have felt while making the piece has a way out and does not go to it's new owner. i think that's a run on sentence, but i hope it's understandable.

It sounds like no one looking closely at your block can see the mistake. I certainly think with the expertise of the ladies on this board, telling you it won't be noticed/we don't see it, forget about it. I still remember an early art class in college. We were all told to draw this table monstrosity, then we had to put our drawings up and the class had to critic the work. I was one of the first, and I said I thought it was off, crooked--my teacher a bit of a snooty guy, looked at me and said it is not off. It was well done. You could have knocked me over with a feather. We critic ourselves way too hard. You know, if this had been put up by anyone else you too would find no fault in their work.
