I tried them and did not like them at all. All that mess after pulling of the paper and the little bits that stayed behind. YUK! I get perfect half square tris by making them a little bit larger and squaring them up after sewing. It takes a little more time but perfect every time. No paper mess and the money spent on paper can be spent on FABRIC!

I just made a quilt last year using Thangles, I love them too, I am making two quilts this year with them. The first one is my picture. These make quilting so easy and help you learn accuracy. This is a great way for a newbie to take up quilting

I've done the buck-a-block. I really like using thangles. As for the paper problem. My eleven-year-old loves to do that part for me. :D

I haven't used Thangles, but I have used Triangles on a Roll which I believe is nearly the same thing. I made this wall hanging one day while playing around with T on R just to see if it was easier. It was!

The colors look faded in this pic, but you get the idea.

I just love it when you proper English ladies talk Western! The tip-off is "Have you"--What you SHOULD have said is "Ain't you got one of them there thangle quilts to show us?" Bwwaaaahaaahaaaa!
Or you could just leave off the "Have" and say "You got . . ."

I may live in Texas, but I'm a displaced Yankee. <LOL>

I know of friends who have used them, but I don't really have problems with my triangles, so I have not used them.
