Default Has anyone made the Iron Caddy?

The directions are horrible and the pictures are in black and white. (please print patterns in color, I'd gladly pay the extra cost, or at least say on the front of the pretty color picture, images inside are black and white).

I followed the instructions, marked and re measured, pinned every seam line. Used every name brand product suggested. It doesn't fold right, flops over and looks like crap. Nothing like the pert and pretty caddy on the pattern pic. I won't use this at all. If you have made one how did it turn out?

From the picture it looks like one of your handles is placed wrong. I think it is cute

The handles can't go but one way. It's the folding that doesn't work for me. I have even steamed pressed it to shape but it won't hold up. I'm making another one. All the others on the website looked great.

If you want to see instructions in colour "sewnsewer2" has a tutorial on how to make this item. They are very good
instructions. It was posted on 1-9-2012. I found it by doing a search.

I made this caddy and yes it was a bit tricky. It looks to me that you just have it folded the wrong direction. try bringing the flaps to the front and back , the same side the handles are stitched on and I think it will be just fine.

I just ordered the pattern - I hope I can figure it out. I looked for sewnsewer2's tutorial but haven't been able to find it.

I rewrote the directions. Then I used paper and marked it to see if my directions were OK.

PM me if you want them.
