    I use Elmer's School glue, and a tip, does the same, but MUCH cheaper :D:D:D

    Its a sewing machine foot that does whip stitching...

    It says to use Nylon Invisible thread on the top and bottom. Good luck with that!

    I'm assuming that this is for the second line of stitching to put the binding on. Since I do mine all by machine anyway, this method would take more time than I now need to finish the job. In addition, the foot they're using is one that already comes with a lot of machines.

    I agree that Elmer's school glue is as effective and probably cheaper.

    However, I don't like the feel of the invisible thread so I won't use that. I certainly wouldn't buy a new foot just to do this when I do it so easily already.

    Somewhere on the board is a tute by Sharon Schamber showing how she uses glue to put on binding. You might want to search for it.
