I wanted to try bags for a change and ordered one from Connecting Threads..it was an Open City Tote Kit - but I can't find it on line this morning....I bought the kit to try it and thought that if it was fun I'd make some out of my stash fabrics....

if you're buying it for the fabric, then give it a try, why not. if you're trying it for the pattern, then the internet is loaded with free wonderful purse patterns.

Thanks Butterfly for the link! My computer crashed and I lost all the freebie sites. Now I get to restart my collection!

Connecting threads gives very clear cutting and sewing directions..at least for thier quilts. I would think it would be the same for thier sewing patterns. You go for it!
