Default Have any of you seen wide plaid flannel?

hello... my brother in law has an old blue jean quilt that his grandma made years ago. After all of these years the flannel backing has ripped in a few places and they asked me if I could put a new back on it. The quilt is 80" x 80" and they would like plaid flannel. It sure would be awesome if I could find some plaid flannel that was wide (108" or so) to make this new backing. But I can't find any. I can find solid flannel 108" wide, but I was hoping for plaid. I can always piece, but I was just hoping to make it as easy as possible.

And I know if 108" wide plaid flannel exists someone on this board would know where to find it. Any ideas?

I looked at several sites and there weren't any that were plaid. The closest was from thousands of bolts which had a checked pattern. Have you considered using a king size flannel bed sheet? I found lots of them online in flannel plaid.

If you can't find plaid, this flannel has kind of a design that might work? https://www.fabric.com/buy/0393431/1...la-flannel-red

Check out thrift stores. There should be some there. You're in the climate zone for them. You just may find some old flannel 3xl shirts that may work.
