I have entered large shows like that. I use a large, clear, garbage bag to wrap my quilt in for shipping. That way they can see its a quilt, not garbage, and yet its protected in the box during the shipping.

They're around $6 for 2 or 3 depending on the size.
The is also an XXL3 that's a bit smaller then the one in the link.
