I'm enough of a novice that I'm excited about every project. Almost all my quilts are charity quilts for children. Each one is a different pattern and a different FMQ pattern. I love each one while I'm working on it but I'm also always looking to the next one with great excitement.

I have been quilting for over 30 years and I still get SO excited with each new quilt I start! I wouldn't be starting them if I didn't still feel this way!

I'm really excited about my new project. Bought a pattern and just loved the fabrics it was made out of, and then found out I could still buy the very same fabric. That doesn't happen for me very often. It arrived a few days ago, and I've been cleaning/sorting out my quilting studio so that I can start. Can't wait!

Yes, I am always excited when I purchase the fabric for a project...problem is that life happens and I have whole projects in boxes pattern and all. I have one that I started in a class over 5 years ago, it's a radiant star but I took apart several times so that the center looks like a size D bra...Haha.. a Longarmer said she could quilt is down if I finish it. I will try and finish it at our next retreat, That is if I am not too embarrassed.

I get a wonderful sense of excitement as I begin a new project. I think that is why I have more than one on the go at any time. It was like being at school new exercise book or sometimes a new peg.
Wonderful forget the past new hope Nd fun.
I don't get the same excitement with a finished quilt oh it is done.

I start building excitement once I've pieced the top of the current project and know that within a week I'll be starting something new. Today I should finish the quilt I've been working on and I'm excited about what I'll start today or tomorrow.

Yes, a new project gets the adrenaline running and I do look forward to starting it. It is good all the way around. Maybe I should start something new today....
