I like this idea! (and I'm slower than you to catch on b/c I never heard of it lol)
I bought wool felt for ornaments and it's pricy. Around 10.00 a yard or something like that. You'll know wool from the others by the price.
I bet what you used is the poly one- not the craft felt either.

I have used it in table runners for quite some time now as it does not give the loft that cotton or poly would so that it is diffucult to put something on, like a cup of coffee or like thing, but it give a stability to the runner so it isn't limp. I think it is the ideal solution.

twinkle, I am self taught and still self teaching lol, lots of good info here on the board...I myself would of never thougth to use felt...but I am glad I read the postings, will try but with cotton felt not wool...
