Have only done that one time.We all made the same quilt using our own choice of fabrics/colors.
There was a finish by date.....for all to send in a pic.We had a good time.There was help if needed & lots of us sent in pics as each quilt "grew".No shipping to bother with & it worked great.I think of the ppl involved every time I see the quilt I made.

Only the one on this board--I'm doing the Farmers Wife Sampler Quilt and I'm learning so much and having tons of fun. Hope we do another one.

We pick out a pattern in our church group. There is about 18-22 and we all usually make the quilt, but each person does thiers in thier favorite colors. It is amazing that when we finish they all look so different. It is fun to see them come together.

One reason we chose to do it that way,was to save on postage.That can be $$ when you need to send a bigger & bigger top thru the mail every mo. Anyway, it was fun & made some friends.
