I was surfing and found this book on Quilted Bed Runners.

I guess I have! I made this as a 'over the back of the sofa' throw and it folds nicely along the seam to hides the back portion if Mom wants to have this at the foot of her bed. I figured if I made 4 stars into a square throw, it would just be folded up most of the time. So why make 4 PP feathered stars when I could just make 3!!

That is just beautiful. Will steal your idea of a throw for back of sofa as my QI Abbie, a long-haired calico, loves to lay there and of course sheds.

Made one big enough for a 70 lb lab to lay across the foot of the bed. He knew it was his place.

I bought that book from Connecting Threads a few weeks ago. Haven't made anything from it yet, but I like the thought of making something to go across the foot of our bed.

Yes, I've made several. Also it's neat to use if you don't want to tuck your quilt, just put over pillows and it looks like it's part of the quilt.
