I was wondering if bargello quilts are easy for a beginner?

I think they are. You do have to be "orderly minded", I think, because it's like working one big picture rather than a bunch of small ones (blocks).

I love these type of quilts. I am working on one as we speak...I decided to wing it though and not really use a pattern. Will post as soon as I get to the point where it looks like something...

I have made one. It was a simple one. I definitely want to make another. They are a fun pattern.

I made a simple scrappy one - using quiltville.com pattern. It was fun - next I want to make one that has more movement- I think they are fun.
