My Wally World had some of its "pre-cuts" on clearance yesterday. So, I picked up two packages of precut fleece (1.5 yds-------54" wide) in a light blue-----------perfect color match to personal quilt I have on the sewing table. (got some other goodies too!).

I needed 2 yd in lenght so I started sewing them together to make the lenght I need. Darn stuff kills my top threads. I was zigzagging the two layers together and every few inches the thread messed up. Soooooooooooooooo I had a spool of Sulky's polyester invisible thread. Got it on the sewing machine and first thing you know the thread breaks. I've never used the invisible much so I wasn't aware that it has a tendency to flip off the spool and hang on the spindle.

FINALLY--------I figured out I had to sew with one eye on the spindle. Okay. Got that done. Now, I'm pinning the quilt to the backing to sew and turn.

    Is today Friday the 13th?????????

Forgot to mention------------nerves are making my back hurt, too!

Oh, well, back to the sewing! Well, back to the pinning!

Guess the cheap fleece was a good deal.

Boonville---------way over a hundred miles from you

I'm going back in the morning. They had some of the pillowcase kits on sale, too. while I don't generally do kits, if they are 3.50 or so, they'd be worth the trouble.. Want me to look for something for you?
