Thread: Have you used the Hobbs Tuscany silk batting?

    to get the "wrinkles" out I have put the batting in the dryer and run it on air for 10 minutes or so.

    I cannot imagine even wanting to pre wash batting, but there are certainly people who do. That said I made a silk tie quilt and used silk batting - it was wonderful, has lovely drape. A friend made a competition quilt with embroidery and used silk and it was positively yummy!
