DH has to work today, I have the day off. I have new fabric to wash, and plan to cut squares for my next project. I have a cookie tin full of 1 1/2" squares which will make 9 patch squares...I picked up some WOW to go between the 9's.

Anyone else have today off? What do you plan to do with your day?

Sounds like you'll be having a wonderful time! I'm jealous!

My "me" days are when my 2 yr old ds is napping or after his bedtime, lol.

Well I sorta have the day off everyday, LOL. I am a SAHM, but always have things to do and get done. But hubby has the day off, so really it is better for me. Two of us to run after the kiddos, more sewing for me.

I am retired, so most days are "Me" days :D:D:D
But I remember those days when my kids were still home, and how special it felt to take a day for just "Me" :D:D:D

No day off for me. Seems like whenever I am about to get a "me" day the rest of my life interferes! I love my husband and daughters dearly, but they do seem to require a lot of my time.

LOL.... you are so right Margie. DH made a comment on his way to work about my staying home and "eating bon bons and cookies" all day. Sounds good, except that we don't have either one in the house. :( I'll probably make him a wee treat for dessert tonight

I guess I am having a "me" day too. DH at work and I have the day off. I love my "me time"
I am putting the binding on my International Round Robin quilt. I spent Sat and Sunday quilting it and I should have it done today. Then it will go on DD bed where she will discover it when she comes to visit next weekend. Yeah! "Me Time", a UFO done and a visit from DD. Life is great!

I have the day off so went to the mall with my best friend. Got new heels, skirt, silk blouses-- all pretty. We had lunch. Now to the sewing room- how perfect!
