ARGH!! I'm having a block - and not the patchwork kind of "block".

I just can't figure out how I want to do the palm fronds on my landscape quilt. Spent all day looking at pictures, cutting and (unfortunately) disposing of fabric that didn't look right. Even took a trip to the LQS for inspiration and all I did was spend money and help the LQS lady overcome HER creative block in choosing a 3rd fabric for a purse she was making.

I keep walking into the sewing room, looking at the darn thing, picking up fabric and holding it this way and that way, getting frustrated and walking out to look at yet MORE pictures.

I'm waiting for the "aha" moment.

Do something completely off topic -- as soon as you stop trying to push your brain to a solution, it often just magically appears.

Could you send us a picture so we can see what you did have (yes, pull from the garbage), so we could suggest other options for you, rather that sending info that you have already tried and didn't like? Maybe you are being too critical. I will give you an honest opinion of what I see though. :-)
