I was at Joanns yesterday and found yards of this in the fabric section. It was $1.99 a yard so I bought 10 yards. I only had a 40% off coupon. When I get a 50% off coupon I'll go and get a lot more. It is actually cheaper then buying it prepackaged. I think the perpackaged is $11.99 for 5 yards. I have used a lot of this the past 3 weeks because I am working on 3 appliqued quilts. It is amazing how fast you can go threw a yard of it.

Good deal - does it stay on the paper well like the original heat and bond? I stopped using Wonder Under because I'd buy a few yards of it and in storing it would seperate. I also like Steam a Seam but I have only seen it bagged in sheets.

I do the same thing...go thru it fast...wait for my coupons and go buy yds. Sorry to hear abt Wonder Under I wanted to try that versus the heatbond and just bought 5 yds of that on sale. Better get to using it up

I wish they'd carry the Ultra on the bolt. It's so expensive to buy in the package and that's what we use when decorating stockings for the troops.

I never knew they had any of that stuff on a bolt!
I'll have to check it out my next visit.

I buy Heat and bond lite by the bolt at Jo Anns. Using a coupon or waiting when they have interfacing for 50 percent off. At mine its behind the cutting counter , Ihave asked and ordered a whole bolt when the in - store supply is low. I can still use the coupon or get the sale price. The manufacture stopped producing the heavy on the bolt a few years ago.
I too prefer the heat and bond lite as it does not separate from the backing over time like wonder under.

I was shocked to see some of the interfacing was $8.99 a yard. I could not buy any that expensive, coupon or not. I don't pay that for fabric and I certainly would not pay that for something that goes underneath the fabric that you would not see!!LOL

Thanks. I am going to check at Joann's when I go into town today. I tried the ultra this week and loved the bond. Much better than any of the other products I have used in the past. I want to try the light as it may make the fabric a little softer on the applique I am putting on a baby quilt.
