You might look into the Husqvarna Viking Sapphire. I have one, and it sews like a dream, plus it has a variety of quilting stitches to choose from!

Hello and welcome from SW Iowa. Glad to have you here. Go to the dealers in your area and test drive a few and see what you like best.

If I hadn't just purchased a machine I would probably be looking at a Husqvarna Viking Sapphire. The 10" armm looks awesome. There are several on ebay.

Hello and welcome from Ontario. I know many here like the Janome machines as second machines. I use Pfaff's but I haven't tried their lower end machines yet.
