I cannot load a picture on my avatar. Could someone tell me what I might be doing wrong. Thanks

Do not click on preview, when trying to post pictures, it sends them out into cyberspace :wink: :D:D:D

Go to my profile:
Scroll down to Avatar:
Click on Browse:
Find the picture you want to upload for your Avatar:
Picture may have to be in jpg. gif. format (not sure)
Click Update Avatar:

I just posted my avatar. Thanks for the tips. This orange quilt is pumpkins quilted on a sparkly organza layed over 4-patch of many different oranges.

I've tried MANY times to create an avatar. I followed the steps exactly and my chosen picture does not show up.

You have to reduce the size first. I think it has to be less than 1mb, but not sure.

:-) HI how does one go about puting a picture in jpg.gif format? I also wanted to put in an avatar and I wasn't able to. Thanks for your help. BrendaK

your photo may be too large, I had that problem, so I made it smaller and it worked the next time. But did cut some of the sharpness from the photo, but went with it anyway. Shirley/tn (jigs1354)
