This makes a very large block but if you use 5" sqs. instead of 10", it would be very nice and relatively easy. I have made it the way she shows in the video and just made one to use as a topper but I want to try it scaled down.

Jenny Doan has this Youtube video making Big Block Star Blocks quilt. I ordered 3 layer cakes and some cream yardage to make this. Each star is 25". It's beautiful and so so easy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tkm3nCferp4

You guys are GREAT!!! Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I had a negotiation meeting after work tonight and just walked in a little while ago. I really do try and get back to everyone as soon as possible...

Lois, that is exactly what I had planned, or at least very similiar. Now that I am sitting for a bit before bed I will check out everything everyone sent and actually pick one.

On a side note I found a LQS that carries the Grace Hand Quilting frame I will be buying in the next few days. I just need to give them a call tomorrow to see if they have it on hand or have to order it and what the price is. Once I have that info I will decide if I am ordering it from the company or just getting it through the LQS, I'm really excited about it..LOL

I love that (at the very end) she shows a quilt made using the 5" squares. Good one!!
