DH used a small thin honing stone he attached to a file. With your blades having the edge off of them it may be more then you can do by just sharpening. Have a stab at it and see what happens.

I wonder if someone who sharpens scissors, lawn blades, or chainsaw chains would have an idea of what to use on it?

Can't hurt to ask.
Good luck!

Ok, I get it. I will use the stone of my rotary cutter sharpener, they are thin an small. Thank you so much!

There was this kind of shop near my home a few years ago; you could bring about anything to have it sharpen like new. I would have gone there right away, but sadly it closed last year.

I worked in printing all my life .
And when a die goes some time if you put in peace of paper under the die it could work .
just one piece of bond. some times the die is pushed down just a bite.
It always happened in the printing shop

Tom, thank you very much for sharing your experience. That's the very first thing I tried. But it didn't work. The blades have been dulled very badly buy my boo-boo.

I will do my best and post the result of my effort... can't bear the idea of throwing away a 50$ die used for only one quilt! If I can save it, I'll make a tutorial in case anyone get distracted and make a stupid thing like I did :-)
