help with feather weight

I recently bought a 1950 feather weight with no manual. Can somebody tell me how to thread it. I must be doing something wrong :?:

you thread the needle from the inside to the out or if you dont understand that from the right to the left here is a great tute http://www.april1930s.com/html/how_t...r_feather.html

The flat side of the needle faces left. To thread the needle thread from right to left or inside to outside. Not front to back. Hope this helps! I had mine in wrong and took it to repair man for him to tell me what I was doing wrong:) Google Featherweight Sewing Machines and you will find manuals for it.
