I keep a telescoping magnet by my chair when I do hand sewing because I am always losing needles. The magnet works great,

Its usually my husband or son find it with there foot . ( magnetic feet and it seems to be genetic ) That's so funny

I lay flat on the floor so I am at eye level with the carpet. Makes it easier to find
