I have a grandbaby due in October. So far the little bugger will not cooperate with the ultrasound (has crossed it's legs). The problem is I am so wanting to start a quilt. Any ideas of patterns and colors that I could start that is not all pink or blue. The mom does love blue and red, but I want this to look at least somewhat babyish. Any ideas?

Orange, Yellow and Green.
A Duck quilt would be gender neutral.

If you google free baby quilt patterns, you will get lots.

Here are just some of them, hope it helps

I love the fat cat patterns and most of them would be fine for either a boy or a girl.

Just use the primary colors, red, blue and yellow, very bright and wether it is a boy or girl it will work.

Duckies, teddy bears, turtles, are some themes to consider.
Maybe it's a girl...and she is a lady

One time I did a baby quilt 9P w/alternating white blocks. In the white blocks, I hand quilted a duck, rabbit, dog, cat, etc. Came out really cute and was gender neutral.

By the way, congrats grammie!!!!
