Hello there....
Here is the link to my blocks,, I was wanting to put a sashing or picture frame,, around each block,, can you give advice if this would look nice,, and if so,, what color? And if not,, would it look ok, to have them all sewn together without a sashing or anything,, Thank for everything!!!

Hi sweetie!!!!!!!! I like the idea of sashing. I would choose one of her favorite colors and go with that one. You could also leave them w/o sashing but I think the sashing would make the posies pop Just my thoughts.......HUGS, Sue

Can't wait to see it when you decide. I like the squares and think sashing would look good around each block. I don't do so well choosing colors. Sorry.

I think black would set them off so nice. Make those beautiful colors pop.

I would definitely put a sashing between them, otherwise they will become a bit "lost". Audition a few darks or even brights and see how it will change the look, you will know when you've hit the right combination. I'm like geckogirl, I am a big fan of black.

I am huge on black, but I wonder if this is the right place for it. You may find the green gives you a more delicate look. Spread out your sashing fabrics and lay the blocks on top, that way you can audition the sashing without cutting first.

I saw one of these quilts all done up where the bouquets were all pointing in towards each other, the flower part kind of make a big circle around the points, very pretty and an unusual setting, (at least to me).
