Thread: Help - How do I make wide backing

I played with some paper - I used pink and blue to show the cut and what happens when it's 'slid along the diagonal'

Where I got hung up with the concept before -

- the 'original' piece needs to be cut from corner to corner

and

there will be some 'dog ears' on the ends that will need to be trimmed off
