Help in a hurry.... how to use large prints in a quilt

One side was cuddly minky, and the other side had all of her cute shirtless cowboys on it.

I have made a couple of quilts where i didn't want to cut the fabric too small - this is one:

I have seen quilts with large print fabrics and they used a length of fabric about 22"x30" and then a border and then blocks around it with coordinating colors or fabrics. This was a child's quilt, but for a bigger one, just make the center panel bigger. Is this confusing? Sorry. I know there was a pattern for the one I saw , but i don't know the name. I will try to find it.

I made my grandaughter a quilt with the dissapearing 9 patch pattern. I placed the horse pics in the corners where they wouldn't be cut. I will try to attach a pic. This went real fast. the horse pics were appx 8", so the blocks were appx 24" square.

I'm currently making a farm animals quilt with the animals in Attic Windows. You can make the windows whatever size your horses are and it's a really easy block to make. Google has some great images to give you ideas.

My sister found these 2 tops at a thrift store and gave them to me to see if I could do anything with them. I had to take apart every seam because through out the whole top the seams ranged from 0" to 1/2". I cut them all the same size, and put them back together.
These are simple quilts, but I like them. I have yet to sandwich them and quilt them.
