Thank you all for your great ideas! We've all been through almost all of them and they are a great laugh as we review our frustrations. It is going to be a fun quilt to make and I imagine a lot of quilters are going to have fun reading them.

I also loved that fortune cookie idea both for fat 1/4s and for another Q idea......... I see in your future...........LOL

May your significant other be the one to find the dropped pin!

May your significant other come home early the day that you were planning to work on his/her surprise

May Diana put you on the hunt for your rotary cutter.

May Athena cause a war in your mind of indecision and doubt of your pattern choice.

May Demeter make you doubt "light vs dark" fabrics

May your machine sing the song of Sirens luring you to believe all is well.

May Hermes keep you running to the fabric store for just one more piece.

May Aphrodite lay her hand on all fabric that you view.

May your ice water spill all over your quilt

May your classmate ask you a question at a crucial part of the demonstration/lecture

May your cat make your thimble disappear

May your significant other decide to reorganize your supplies!

May your favorite ruler break and that brand/model/style is no longer available.

An aside - be careful with cats and pins, cats and thread, cats and needles. The cats think they are toys. Thread, pins, and needles are not healthy for felines.

May you forget to reset your zigzag stitch and break a needle on the straight foot. (Curse myself with that one plenty)

Many, many times I've forgotten that I have the straight stitch needle plate on the machine and try to zigzag something. It's one of the reasons I buy needles in bulk.
