Question help, I need help finding the right printer?

I want to start printing on fabric. I have been looking at printers but I don't know where to go next. Is there anyone that has put fabric through a printer. Before I put money into one I want to make sure it's the right one. I would appreciate the help. Thank you.

I have an older H/P printer and have never wanted to print on fabric. You might go to H/P website and see if there is a special model that does a better job on printing on fabric. I have read on this site about some failures that when a quilt is washed that the ink disappears.

Here are a couple of articles.

Take note that in the second article when she recommends Jacquard Fabrisign fabric - it is water-resistant - not washable.

In my experience you want the paper to feed from the top into the machine. You want to avoid printers that feed the paper in from the bottom then print folding the paper into a U shape before spitting it out.
