I just started quilting this summer, 2012. I want to make a quilt with a picture of my granddaughters in the middle. It seems as if the printable fabric for labels would be much too thin so what should I use. Also, does anyone have a pattern or suggestion for what I want to do. Thanks so much.

I actually did one quilt with 12 pictures and turned out really good. Once the fabric is sewn with the rest of the quilt fabric you won't even notice the difference. It is a very nice idea. I know everyone loved the quilt I made.
The pattern I used was simple rail fence with the pix as the center of the blocks. Whenni find the pic of the quilt I will post it for you.
