    Default Help!! I'm stuck!

I started this quilt top out of vintage fabric, but I not sure if I put the colors together right.the challenge was to use these three fabrics that have been sitting for awhile, you know one of those box deals where you love some of the fabric that's in the box and you have to buy the whole box, now I'm wondering if I made a mistake !! So please tell what are your thoughts . Do you love it , hate it or maybe I need to change something!! The blocks are sewed together but the strips are just laid out.

Maybe using a tone on tone sashing would help reduce the busy- ness?

I like the blocks but don't like the sashing. I like my blocks to pop and this sashing takes all the attention. I would use that fabric on the back. Something as simple as a solid black sashing might be what you're looking for.

I don't feel the fabrics coordinate but I am so impressed with your ability to sew such great curved seams. Use the fabric for FMQ practice or back of a wall hanging if it doesn't come together the way you want.

Red and green always look good together. This reminds me of an old quilt. The green really stands out nicely.

I just love the blocks, but I think the background fabric is too busy for those beautiful blocks. I don't have any idea what I would do tho'. LOL Keep going until you like it. It's your quilt. You can do anything you want.

I think a cream or green sashing woud look better with the blocks.

I like the idea of using the sashing fabric for the back and tone on tone for sashing! Thanks to all for your thoughts!!
