In ths PDF is instructions for a Spiral Table Runner. Scroll down to the third set of instructions and you will find it. I don't undersand how it says to fold over from left and where the needle goes/sewing.... well it appears most of it I don't understand. But it sounds realy neat so can anyone help with how to make this? I thought it would make a nice double sided quilted runner if I can ever understand the directions. I think if I can understand the first fold I might get it.... Maybe

My understanding of that part is that you are folding and sewing there in order to get the points even. Kinda convoluted instructions.

Yeah, I think so too, but fold where to where just sez left over, and start sewing where. Kinda wierd instructions but I do get that it is in a tube. Still trying to figure it out. I did a google and can't find anything else on it. :?

It sounds like fold in half lenghtwise , lining up points . Sew a 1/4 " seam and then press folded area and then cut on pressed fold . That is the way it looks , anyway . Hope this helps . Annie

The one picture looks like it is diagonal I thought, no :?: The top (or bottom) is diagonal. I think, or I am not seeing it right :?:

DonnaRae , Here are some helpful pics . First one is folded corner . The 2nd one make a dot 1/4 " in from edge. 3rd one is put needle in dot . Don't put your presser foot down . VERY IMPORTANT : back tack at both ends ! When you turn right side out some stitches could come out if you don't . There are more pics . Annie

Crap my pics are blurry ! Make sure you are lined up to sew down long edge . You will have to pull the stripe section over to long side . Line up the 2 , you'll have to keep stopping and lining up . Sew all the way to the end of strip . Remembere to back tack at the beginning and end . When done sewing , turn right side out , line up end points and press short side . Cut on short side press line . The last pic is the one I did . I hope this helps you . Annie

Oh, maybe I was not getting it because it looks like you use different fabric. I thought striped fabric was used? Why am I so confused with this? Maybe I am thinking about it too hard. I useualy get things pertty quickly. I still don't get what you mean by the 1/4 dots about where to put them. And your pics are blurred. Oops, sounds like I am complaining, I am not. You make me so happy that you did this. But I want to do it too. Boo Hoo
