I am making a baby quilt for nephew's new little boy. I just can't decide in the border fabric. Should it blend in ? Should it contrast? Solid light blue, Checks with Mickey, or the yellow. Can't decide. Please Help.

Very nice quilt! I always like a quilt that uses the darker fabric in the top as a border....maybe a tiny red border, then the "real" border in the medium blue (like the check behind Mickey - or even that checkered fabric itself), and bind in darkest blue?
If you just want one border, I'd go for the dark blue. That's a real cute quilt!
I would love to use the darker blue for the border, but it was a scrap I had and used almost all of it in the quilt.
For a little boy ... the checked Mickey would be perfect!
I think I would perfer the dark border.
Not the yellow. The checks with Mickey would be ok or the light blue since you do not have the darker blue left for a border.
I would take some red and make a popping 1" inner border then go with the Mickey fabric. Adorable quilt!
I see using the dark blue...really cute quilt!!
I agree with this choice! If you don't have the red, then use the yellow for a tiny border before adding the outer border.
