Very cute. A friend made me something similar but bigger using a coffee can. I use the center for threads and scraps, there are pockets on the side for pens, rulers, scissors and a section for a pin cushion.

There's a very detailed tute on Penny's Hands blog. I bookmarked it the other day because I thought it was sew cute.

Thanks for posting! I've been meaning to make a new pincushion for a while. (Since the dog chewed mine up.) This one fits the bill. I can carry everything I need without being too big and bulky.
