Default Adjustable Cutting Table

Building a new home with a great sewing room. Am looking at the Grace Truecut Cutting Table or the one by Sullivan. Does anyone have either one of these. Both fold and also adjust to different heights. Any comments?

How exciting to get the sewing room of your dreams!

Sorry I have no experience with either of the tables you mentioned. Have only used dining room table and folding 6' plastic table.

$500 seem like a pretty steep price to pay for a cutting table but Grace is a good name. If there is space to have a permanent set up - my breakfast bar counter is perfect for cutting since it's extra wide, and you could have storage cabinets underneath. I've had Sullivan furniture before, but never something that was folded/unfolded a lot. I've had the folding craft table from JoAnn's and it was not very steady and for long term use I'd stay away from it/

I've had the cutting table from Joanns probably 6 or 7 years now or maybe longer the way time flies.. and I love it..I only have half set up..perfect for my 24 X 36 cutting mat...never no problem with it and had a 50% off coupon when it was only $99. back then..and I have cut many a piece of fabric on it..

If you are building why not have a cutting table installed that folds down flat against the wall when not in use? You can have it the height you prefer and the floor space when you need it. It can be installed with spring hinges so it will be easy to raise and lower.

I have the horn folding table. Large on casters, tilts and will hold in place and folds upright for storage. I purchased at same time a cutting board to fit and the used double sided carpet tape to hold in position. Love it.
Ps adjustable height so can sit and quilt with large area and higher to cut on or pin with no back ache.

I googled "Grace Truecut Table" and found it in Overstock.com for $324.99. I have had the folding cutting table purchased at JoAnn's for 10 years, and it has worked well for me, but I wish I'd known about this one, because I now do all my cutting sitting down and having an adjustable table would be wonderful. Plus, as someone said, you could adjust the height to match your sewing table to have the extra area to hold up a quilt as it is being quilted.
