Welcome to the Quilting Board!

I would contact the charity you are going to donate them to. Many have preferred sizes.

I usually go about 40 x 40 or so. I try to stick to the width of the fabric as one side so I don't have to piece the backing and can use regular fabric on the back. But mine are more like quilts/playmats. Stroller type quilts could be smaller.
I'm doing NICU for ANNAQUILTS, she takes all sizes form 15 x 15 on up. contact her or the organization and see what size they prefer. some re very strict as to what they wil take, so be careful.
put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.
As others have stated, I would check to what size and fabric content an organization requires with accepting quilts.
