Default Help Please, Boarders or more blocks?

I am making this quilt for my teenage grandson, he likes bright colors...

I was wondering if I should add some boarders to make this wider 65 inches or just add two more strips of the color fabric to make the 65 inches and no boarders and just use a black binding?

what do you think...this is the zipper quilt from MSQC ..Jenny put a tutorial on it and my grandson liked it, so grandma made it for him..boy grandma's do anything for there grandkids..LOL

Ooh, I ***love*** it!!! Will have to look up that tutorial!

I would probably add two more strips of the colored fabric, then add a strip of the black equal to the black strips in the quilt as a border all around before adding a black binding.

I think even just a border of the black that is in the quilt would be perfect. But I would add a border for sure.

I would add two more blocks with a black sash and I wouldn't use Black for the binding I would use one of the bright colours in your block. I must say I love the quilt !
