I don't know about that particular machine, but I've had a Janome machine for about 9 years. Have had no trouble with it and it's only been in the shop for cleaning and adjusting. I LOVE my machine and use ut every day. It cost a lot more than $75.00.

I went to the Janome site and couldn't find that machine. That's no surprise since I'm not very good on the computer. Hope someone else can help you.

I did some research and found it was top of line when made in the early 808's and sold for around $400. There are some great reviews about it; and I would make sure it runs good before buying. Definitely not a bad price for a used dependable machine. I own 2 Janomes myself; and love them.

I had the Memory Craft 6000 New Home/Janome from the 80's. It was great! I am sad that I parted with it. They are an excellent machine and could sew anything.

If you don't need the machine it is not worth spending money. If you do need a good basic machine GO GET IT! (after you have tried it out first - take fabric and items you would be using it for to make sure it works well)
