I am doing a pattern the uses 2 sizes of square in a square in a square. The larger ones are perfect! But the ones that are 4 1/2 are not even close.

I am looking for a paperpieced one the is 4 1/2 inches when done. I have found a few 6 1/2 inch ones. How do I resize them? I am wondering if the cutting instructions in my pattern are correct for the smaller ones. So I am going to do a few pp with the cut pieces to see if it is me, or the pattern.

Below is a a pic of the S in S I am trying to do. It is a 6 1/2 inch one.

Thanks for the help!

You could try printing the 6.5" pattern that works at 66%. And adjust percentage from there til you get it printed the size you want. Don't forget to add seam allowances to the middle ones.

i would draw it out to size on graph paper- cut it apart- add seam allowances- and put it back together to print out the pp pattern.

Check Quiltville for PP patterns ... not sure if it'll be the size you want!

My printer has the ability to print graph paper. So I just printed some graph paper and drew it out. Thanks!

I tried the resizing, but it was wasting too much to get perfect.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE HELP! :)
