I just went to sew on my pfaff 7530 and the foot pedal is not working. It turns on ok and lights but when I use the pedal - I get nothing. Any suggestions?

One of my foot pedal runs by air ( I have no idea how) and it had a tiny nick in the cord and would't work at all. If it is electrical, probably a wire came loose or a spring wire broke. Take the petal apart and you can probably fix it. If you can't you haven't lost anything by trying.

My connection where the foot peddle hooked into the machine became loose. The dealer just played with it for a minute and it works fine now.

It's got to be the connection wiring!

How old is the machine ?is it still under warranty ?If so do not take it apart, you might void the warranty

try wiggling the cord or unplugging it and plugging it back in

Unplug foot pedal wipe off the connection part. You may have a bit of lint. Try looking in the where the connection goes into the machine maybe a bit of lint or thread in there. You can always beg the machine to please start working, telliing it how much you love this machine.
I love my Pfaff 7570.
